About YC

Don’t miss this year’s transforming experience as we learn what it means to ABIDE in Christ!

Youth Conference LogoTaylor’s Youth Conference is a tradition that has gone on now for 84 years! Youth Conference is geared toward high school students, 9th-12th grade.  Each year students are welcomed on campus by Taylor students who graciously give of their time and efforts to make YC the best weekend of all time. Seriously. Students participating in YC will attend four main sessions throughout the weekend led by a message from the speaker and a meaningful worship experience. Our speaker this year is Jesse Kahler (TU ’06) and the theme is “Abide,” coming from John 15. In addition, Phil Wickham will be here in concert on Saturday night!

One of the most dynamic and rewarding aspects of YC high school students’ opportunity have to be in a small group led by Taylor students. Small groups meet together after each main session, giving students the chance to ask questions and engage in in-depth discussions together.  We also have a lot of crazy fun activities planned for small groups to do throughout the weekend. There’s a lot to look forward to!

Some students come to YC with their youth group or home church and others come by themselves. Either way, students have a blast! Time is set aside for youth group breakouts and youth group free time in an attempt to balance out the time spent in small groups. We truly value the relationships between youth leaders and students so we try our best to create an environment and culture where those relationships can be strengthened. Students always leave YC with many good memories and good friends!

Join us for YC 2013: ABIDE!
