This year’s theme is “Justified,” based on Galatians 2:16. Don’t miss this year’s transforming experience as we learn what it means to be justified in Christ!
A weekend-long conference geared toward high school students (grades 9-12), Taylor’s Youth Conference (YC) is a tradition that’s been running for 85 years. Each year students are welcomed to campus by the Taylor students who help make YC possible.
[Check out last year's conference here!]
Students participating in YC will attend four main sessions throughout the weekend including messages from our speaker, Jeffrey Dean, and meaningful worship experiences led by a worship band made up of Taylor students.
On Saturday night, students will have the chance to worship at a concert given by Christian rapper Derek Minor.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the YC experience is the opportunity to be in a small group led by Taylor students. Small groups meet together after each main session, giving students the chance to ask questions and engage in in-depth discussions with their peers and leaders. Many other fun activities will be planned for small groups to do throughout the weekend.
Some students come to YC individually, but others come with their youth group or home church. We truly value the existing relationships between youth leaders and students and desire to create an environment and culture where those relationships can be strengthened, so we set time aside for youth group breakout sessions and free time to balance students’ time with their small groups.
We hope you’ll join us for YC 2014: Justified!
